On Sunday I sold a dress on Ebay for 99p & the buyer paid immediately. Before I could parcel it up Mr O wiped his oily hands on it & ruined it. I contacted the buyer, explained & apologised and gave her an immediate refund.
The cheeky mare has just emailed me to say that I have a legal obligation to buy her a brand new equivalent dress (approx £35) AND let her have it for free!
Even Mr O was shocked by my language!

good link benny - her emails were even worse

"you are deserving much punishment"

Does Sharia Law apply to Ebay??????? gulp
Easy solution Mrs O. Invite the buyer to punish the person responsible - Mr O!!!!!!!
... as long as his flesh is only worth 99p/lb.
i had this before, i listed some books and the 1 book got wet due to a small water leak, i notified the buyer and told them and they was moaning and wanted the book.
i put the book in an envelope, refunded the bid (not postage) and sent the book to the buyer, they moaned about it and i told them i'd told them previous, prob thought i was pulling a fast one.

i also sold a phone about 6 weeks ago and the buyer (after sending him the postage details) wanted part refund for some earphones, then a windscreen holder and even a charger, i said was it advertised with the holder and earphones , he said no and i said ya can get lost, did offer to have the phone back off him but he refused to send it saying it was fine!!!

At the moment I wouldn't give you tuppence for him lol
mrs o , i've just had 1 very similar.
someone in spain just purchased a bunch of xbox game cases (no games as my 4 year old had trashed them), now he said there are stickers on the case so he's not happy (pic shows the price stickers on cases) and he now says i have 2 options , 1 is negative feedback, 2 is to ship him a xbox game he is interested in (to which i've nevr listed any games as my son trashed the discs).

watch this space, i may just send him a disc that mu son has stuck popcorn to and had round the floor many times lol
Mrs O, complain to ebay, with a copy of the email you received from this 'person'. Ebay may ban her ... good riddance I say.
totally agree smurf, 99.9% of ebayers are trustworthy and genuine then you get the 0.1% that are dodgy and complain about everything just to get the item for free.
my wife just sold a top on ebay for 99p and the buyer left negative feedback because in the listing it was described as a loose fitting coral top! The woman received the item tried it on and didn't think it was loose fitting enough, it turns out the top is a size 14 as advertised and the woman who bought it is a size 22 so there's no wonder its not loose fitting

I had to select my words very carefully when replying to her!
dan, i'd have just told her straight it ain't gonna be loose on you!!
people have to realise that sometimes if they want to be that fussy about the niggliest little thing then they should go to the shop and pay full whack, they would get exactly what they wanted then.
