Well myself and wife will not ....no way in a million years.
Tell the government about all my personal information and trust them not to sell the info or it falling into the wrong hands ....
Gains for filling it in - None i can see
Possible hurt - A lot of risk ....

True words Aqualung .....
I also know a few people like that ....
The stupid are people like me , with credit cards , vote and on PAYE ...
my parents study our family tree and would have difficulty without the censuses. So yes i will be filling it in so my future family can find out about me.
I agree 4get - my work does a lot of genealogy research and it would be made nigh on impossible without the census. And if you don't fill it out Andy, in the current climate of 'the war on terror' you might draw much more attention to yourself than you want. Do you think they'll bother looking at it if you do fill it in? They'll tick a few boxes and file it away, but if you don't bother they'll be wanting to know why.....

How does where you work and your sexual preference help to trace a family tree ?
Question Author
Yes o.k. ....

I will risk my personal data becoming public , so some can trace my family tree in 100 years time lol
You have to by law I believe, though I'm not on the electoral roll so I will probably be exempt. If not, I will falsify anything I find too invasive.
