I am on all of those census returns, and guess what, i am still here, not been cloned, abducted by aliens or otherwise felt vulnerable in any way. Any confusion between filling in a census return and online fraud, government spies and a big brother scenario is plain daft. Can people just do what they are required to do or leave the country if they don't think they should be counted as part of our future?

Sirrandyraven what is your problem, you will gladly mouth off on here, a site that is easily monitored to gain info, you use a PC so people that want the info can get it if they want it they just choose easier ways. If you dont want to fill out a simple form fine, but stop moaning about it or you may find that knock at the door comes sooner than expected!!

I don't see what the problem is, all our data is out there anyway in one shape or form - I have no problem in filling in the form and returning it.

Will be a minefield of info for criminals when the data is compromised.
As it will be ...not if ..but when ...

You drive past a house and see a young girl get out of car and go in.
Tap into in census data and you will know her name , age , religion , where she works , what she does and if she lives alone....

I think the the census is simply dangerous !
The data will make it into the public domain ....look at the track record so far for data getting lost !

The 30k is the tax I have just paid on my bonus .....so don't say if I don't fill in stupid census , I'm not contributing towards the uk ....and should not b a citizen ....I work hard all year get a bonus and uk limited steals 40% of my hard work ....it dont pay to o well in the uk

i never fill these out for myself due to 1 reason.
data protection, if i fill it in and it gets into the wrong hands some dodgy person is 1/2 to having my identity.
can the authorities guarantee 100% safety of documents like these, no they can't so until then i wont fill them in.
same as if any company rings me and asks me to pass security 1st, my reply is you rang me you can pass security 1st when i start asking for company vat numbers etc...
