Hey folks, an evil fascination drew me back to the Family section - all the posts about 'what do the 5 dots mean in the text from my GF?' have been pulled, no longer there. Thank you, weekend Ed!

We discovered it was 'heshe' blanked out, as Mr(s). Fivedots had 'gender undpecified' in their profile.

Boxy -ive notice this all day and I did pop in after catching CJ on ITV Player at 2am but must have missed it-what was it ? (nosy got hung lol)

Dris - all day yesterday, and up til 2.30am this morning, this guy (sounded initially like a teenager and from the US perhaps) had been texting his GF constantly asking if they were still BF and GF, and she kept writing "yes Dave....." - the dots/periods bothered him, he was trying to interpret them by persisting in asking us, not getting the hang of it that his persistence was starting to grate (on her and us). He posted on here under 2 or 4 different names, each one got suspended - I think there were 8 or 9 almost identical posts in the end!

Boxtops, the predictive text helps you quickly put your message. On the occasion that it does not give you the word you want, you go through the options and if it isnt there then you can spell it out. Sorry if you already know all this, but it does really make life easy IMHO. and as I said in the posting that started the debate if you want to put a happy face at the end to press the full stop a couple of times it gives a happy face. You can then use the options to change it to a sad face if necessary.
