I suppose the question belongs here - how is it pronounced please? I was led to believe it is koon - tatch (as in thatch) but my work colleague thinks it's koon - tash (as in 'stash')

Darth, Click http://matt_yapit.tripod.com/holly-cars.html and scroll down to the 'Rain Man' information. There, it suggests 'koon-tash'...which is the only version I've heard myself. (Mind you...I don't tend to move in Lamborghini circles!)

Cheers - i'm not an owner either i'm afraid. Although you can now get a second hand one for around 30 grand.. anyone lend me twenty eight grand?
Yes oh breathy one the friends pronunciation is correct....and unless you fancy walking round in circles and never having any spare money again I would give Lambo and Ferrari ownership a miss.....you need a Arnie left leg to operate the clutch in town driving and you need your own spot at the local filling station for these are thirsty beasts...I have driven a couple of Ferrari's and approx 12 mpg seemed to be the norm...and let's not get started on servicing costs and insurance.
I'm no expert on this, but I always thought that the last syllable was pronounced "tock", as the Germans would say it.
I think it may be said as "cown-tosh" or "cown-toush"(towsh)
