Everybody!

Are Specsavers really cheaper?

If so, do you get what you pay for?
i have used vision express for the last 20 years or so
20 i meant 10, mind you it could be 20, that would be scary if it is....
The last pair of glasses I got were from Vision Express about 3 years ago and i have had no problems with them. They put your prescription in a cover which says "Visual Wardrobe" on them which made me chuckle.
well my optician is fit!! and it's dangerous when you have a fit optician who leans in that close when gazing into your eye!
You just get the urge to kiss them don't you Paul?
I do - the trouble is, my optician is a woman, but she has such sweet breath and a sexy voice ;-)
Sounds like my dentist, salla.......i dont know where to put my hands when i'm laying down and she's having her evil way with me......lol :0)

(Roll on end of March....check-up time)
exactly Salla! She had a really soft Northern Irish accent as well, if I was single at the time she'd have been in trouble!! ha!
i have a theory about opticians - even if you have 20/20 vision and just wander in to collect a friend they will find something wrong with your sight and you will walk out with bottle bottoms and a white stick. but then i have astigmatism (?) and nothing looks straight.
I quite fancied my optician when she got all close and personal during the examination. Once I got the new specs I could have puked.
ive used a private optician on the high street for a few years and charges me £35 for a yearly contact check up until i found that tesco opticians charge £17 needless to say i don't do the high street one any more
I have just got my latest pair of spectacles from Tesco optician, very good service and clubcard points !! Every little helps !!
No, there not the same, if your looking for the cheapest then go to asda, £15 for a sight test, and £65 for designer spex with the lenses and all the coatings, plus they use hoya as there suppliers, hope it helps.
don't know about their glasses, but got my son's script goggles from asda and they were excellent quality. I usually go to optical express but had a big fight with them so can't go back anymore.
