im 18 and didnt have any fighting offences i got arrested nt lng ago for affray (first fighting offence) i got bailed then went to bail and wen i went i got rebailed, was told in interview that there is 5 victimz in hosp and 16 witnesses. i was arrested wen i was 18 for the offence coz im 18 now will it go to crown court if it goes to court? n if so wot am i lookin at loadsa people have told me im lookin at 6months. but have been told its only my first fighting offence but there are 5 victims n 16 witnesses so im pretty sure it will be goin to court i want to know wot i am lookin at roughly thanks
i havent spoke to my duty solicitor since the day i was arrested for the offence, and he has sent me a letter to meet him at bail wen i go back n he sed itz my first fighting offence so i could get off lightly but then theres afew victims and 16 witnesses which ovvie be goin thro court coz of how many peeps lol do you know wot im lookin at a sentence or just comm service or tag something like that? thanks
ok firstly were there any weapons involved and was it just you who caused the injury to all 5 people. It depends on a number of factors and what they actually charge you with. also how nice the judge is
I got nabbed in a harbour once, I tried to nick a boat - got as far as slicing through the mooring rope with a bread knife (made a right old mess of it) got charged with "a fray".
It seems smithiarr has told us what he has been charged with - Affray is an offence under Section 3 of the Public Order Act. It is a serious offence and carries a maximum sentence of 3 years if sentenced in the Crown Court.
