what plant sterols are ok to take during 1st trimester pregnancy?

hi all i have inherited high cholesterol, i dont eat junk, i dont drink or smoke and i take omega 3. i eat very healthily as love veg but still need to take something for cholesterol and statins arent the answer as preggers so wondered what types of plant sterols i can use

However, I have got very high cholesterol and am on the highest dose of statins I can be on. I also use flora pro-active which is a bit expensive, but worth a try and have one of their pro-active drinks every day. It does not say anything about it being bad for pregnant ladies and I think it would say it if it was - they have to cover themselves. They are supposed to significantly lower the cholesterol but although I have been doing this regularly for about 6 months it has only lowered from 5.2 to 5.1 which I suppose is better than nothing. I expect you know already that you must stay away from fats of any kind, although it is difficult to do this completely. Hope you get on all right.
