Chimpeach!

Is this some kind of anti-Bush slogan? You can even buy t-shirts, mugs and other merchadise with the word on it. What does it mean and where did it originate?

... hmmm.... "Chimpeach!" is apparently a lefty catchphrase meaning "the president looks like a monkey and should be impeached.  I don't get it either."...????

i think he and his dear father before him have long been compared facially to chimps.

difference being, chimps have proved they can be taught elementary courtesy to humans.

There is a great web site with a lot of photos of W paired with photos of chimps making exactly the same facial expression....worth a google if you haven't seen it.

The word "Chimpeach", to the best of my knowledge, was originated by a man with a website called freewayblogger.com . He goes by the pseudonym "Scarlet P". Scarlet makes signs in the hundreds in his garage, and posts them (safely and securely) along freeways in CA. According to his acct, he had a bunch of signs out in his backyard, and one that said "Impeach" fell over one that said something that started with "Ch" (check his site for the full story). On that day, Chimpeach was born.
