What's wrong with me..
9 Answers
I'm never happy in life. With anything I do and no matter how far I come I still font stay happy for long.
I'm ambitious and set goals for myself. Once I meet them I'm happy for a week if that then I get bored. I wanted to do my highers well. I passed with a's. I got into uni. I've never failed at uni so far (touch wood) I'm in third year btw. I always wanted to model. I done that. I got in magazines. Happiness short lived. Fact us I'm never happy. I never feel Like I have achieved well. I have my own term time flat. I have my job. Good frends but I just can't find this inner happiness. I set goals. Meet them be happy for a few days then I'm back to feeling worthless.
I ask what's wrong with me? And what new goal can I set myself now?

There is nothing 'wrong' with you - perhaps it is just your personality. Don't analyse things too much, don't think about what you said and was said to you - don't brood over things.
You need to relax, go with the flow, seize the day - goals are great but the end of the line isn't when you achieve them - it is just a little stopping place for you to have a small rest...

A few suggestions from an amateur with some life experience :
1 You're not paying proper attention to/appreciating what you have already.
2 There are unresolved issues re your parents/upbringing.
3 You have a condition eg. bi-polarism, a paraphilia you haven't come to terms with, ADHD, depression of some type etc.
4 You haven't learnt how to relax properly !

Do you think you may be focussing on yourself a little to much at the expense of other people , e.g. family , friends?
How about doing a bit of voluntary work say maybe for a charity , or advice centre , or children's centre, or a refuge.
May provide you with an insight into what unhappiness can really be about.
You are obviously intelligent , so why not look at the wider spectrum of how other people live their lives and what you may be able to offer to improve their lot.
Good luck.

You are so so lucky, to have been able to get all those things you want - but you're always looking for something else. Be so grateful to have attained what you wanted - millions of people never do.
Maybe you need to be not so hard on yourself, most of us don't go round goal-setting and achieving, we just get on with life and enjoy the simple things. Appreciate how green your own grass is, without always looking over the fence.
It will need a mind-shift and you will have to work at it, but you need to learn to be happy with simple things, so you can relax and smell the flowers....

Don't look at other people, they might all look happy and grounded but many of them are actually just as confused as you.
Don't let your doubts and demons take over - I can assure you that sometimes your mind is your worst enemy and it isn't a pleasant experience.

Try helping out at a charity for underpriviledged people; see how others can put themself to one side and achieve happiness by helping others.
Assuming that you do not have a medical reason for your restlessness, you will come to appreciate what you have when you see how little some others manage on (and still manage to be happy).
This is a growing symptom of today's me, me, me society.
