Dogs Mouths

Why is a dogs mouth cleaner than a humans mouth.

Are you thinking about if a human bites another human then serious infection can occur but not so, if a human is bitten by a dog?  And vice-versa if a human bit a dog, the dog would be badly infected but not so much if the bow-wow was bitten by one of it's own? 

The dog's mouth isn't cleaner it's just that apparently the type of bacteria that's in it doesn't cause such a reaction in humans... or something like that...

Sorry I really can't concentrate much longer on this....

almost all saliva has antiseptic qualities; however during our evolution our bodies have found that we don't need it as much any more.
Dogs still do need lots of antiseptic in theor saliva.
We wash with soap, water etc.
Dogs wash with saliva.
Hope this makes sense - I know what I mean even if I'm not good at explaining quickly on here.
