They've got a web site but when I searched for diabetic chocolate nothing specific came up (lots of different types of dark chocolate - is that any good?).

I don't know either but if they did I wouldn't buy it whoever makes it!! I am diabetic and got given some diabetic chocolate and spent most of the day after eating some, in the bathroom - no further explanation needed!!

I was about to say earlier that too much diabetic chocolate gives you the runs.

My Aunty used to buy loads of it for me...I would just say 'thanks' and throw it out when I got home.

Does anyone know anything diabetic that tastes as good as the real stuff?

Thorntons make diabetic chocolate. It is the sweetener they put in it which upsets your stomach - sorbitol. If you can find some without sorbitol it might be all right, but don't eat too much anyway especially if you are already too fat. Not good for diabetics to put on weight.

why are diabetic foods so expensive ? its a disgrace.

I think it is because they have to set up their machines to make them and as it is a comparitively small run compared with normal food it costs more and so they have to charge more. It is a shame though Anne as you say. Why should diabetics have to suffer more than they already do.
