Spooky TV Programme?

I'm trying to remember the name of a one off programme on TV that was on I think one Halloween in the late eighties/early nineties. It was supposed to fool the public into thinking a real family house was haunted and a girl was possessed. I think it was live too. It totally freaked the public out and I remember also being very scared of it.

Yes, that's the one! Wondered whether I might dare watch it again but after reading wikipedia, don't think I will! Terrified me in 1992 - well I was only about 11!
