out of date mince

Just checked, and the mince i was going to use for tea went out of date yesterday. Is it still ok to use it or should I bin it? Thanks

They wolfed it down - boring meal but they love it.

cook it and give to the dog thats what I do !next time cook on the last date, stick in the fridge then use it next day that way you wont have problems, sheperds pie always tastes better eaten the next dayanyway.
So are you still with us?!

Still using a 4 pt bottle of milk use by date 2nd March and it is still sweet and nice. They allow a couple of days over and are always ultra careful to cover their backs.

I have said this several times before. Your nose is built to do its job. If it smells good it is and if it doesnt it isnt. Doesnt matter what the little piece of paper says. The job of the piece of paper is to make you buy some more things if you havent had time to use it yet, and, as others have said to cover their backs. I was brought up before things had sell by or use by dates and we were never ill. Funny that.
