Ear wax

Every now and again I have a cracking in my ear usually follwed by the feeling or noticing of a lump of ear wax, should I have them syringed?

sounds like it. entirely quick and painless. You don't need to wait until your hearing is affected, your GP, or at least a nurse, should normally do it I think.
