I had a left Total Hip Replacement 18 months ago and have recovered very well. However, I am unsure of what exercises are best besides walking which I do regularly. I've never been any good on a bicycle as I fall off but I would like to try something else to do. Can I do Yoga or any kind of dance? I don't have a swimming pool nearby so swimming is not an option unfortunately. Many thanks for any suggestions. I have plenty of stamina as I am only 62.

I have had several people with hip replacements in my classes over the many years of teaching Yoga. Yoga is fine but there are some leg movements which are contra-indicated....any crossing of the leg (replaced hip side) over the other leg is a 'no no'.
