I always use AVG, not had any problems with any of my computers but cant say it's any better than others as i havn't tried them.

My father was a sailor so Avast was good for me.

My paid for Avast has recently failed to stop a nasty. My work IT dept solved the problem and installed the free Microsoft Security Essentials as their recommendation.

I used to get free ones and then after a year they'd expire and I had to pay for them. I have PCGuard from Virgin now which is free.

ive just got pcguard form virgin as i have my phone etc from them

mad they dont tell you you can have it for free!
