ADVICE FROM PRO HAIRDRESSER REQUIRED
2 Answers
As my hairdresser is on maternity leave I am being looked after by another stylist in the same salon.
She's very nice, however when she was doing my highlights she took one look at the highlight mix (Majimeche by Loreal with 6%) and instructed the junior to 'squirt more developer' into the mix! I was a little surprised by this as my usual hairdresser has always insisted that she prepare her own shades/highlight mix as the measurements are so important.
When the mix came back she said she was happier as she doesn't like it too creamy and this runnier mix would be easier to apply to the hair. I was to shy to question this as she is the expert.
My highlights look the same shade, although I am concerned about the condition of my hair more than anything and as I have been placed with her until my hairdresser returns (she's not back until October!) I am getter worried that over this time period the extra developer is going to ruin my hair. Am I foolish to be so concerned?
