Newborn baby blues :-(
36 Answers
Just had my second baby boy who is perfect, healthy and happy and gorgeous. But im so tired, i forgot how tiring and stressful it was having a baby in the house, and with a very active 3 year old as well its even harder!
Im fed up of feeling down, and crying when my partner leaves the house, it makes me feel stupid but i cant seem to cheer myself up.
Any advice on how to get a grip of myself? lol

It is largely due to the hormonal changes after childbirth. I thought it was just me, and ended up in hospital. The good news is that it ends! Just keep going elleroo. Wont be long now before you are as happy as you ever were.
I'll swap with you jb190281, I just love new babies, I went to my daughters for a week after she had her first baby just to do the night feeds, she was so tired after a 36 hour labour. I remember standing at the window watching the sun rise, baby in my arms just relishing the thought that in a few more hours I coulkd give the baby back and go home. :-))
I feel your pain lol! My 2nd child is now 14mths but there was a 5yr gap between him and his sister and god I so forgot how hard a newborn is. I dont think I had any kind of depression its just hard bloody work that sadly not many people will admit to face to face so you think you are the only one. I had to go back to full time work as a childminder when mine was 4 weeks and looked after 2 1yr olda and my 5yr old so that was extremely hard but I got through it! I used to leave the room and scream and yell like a lunatic very frequently and cried and cried like you. It does suddenly get easier though and you will look back and think thank god its over! Just accept any help you can and get out and about too (force yourself) I think this makes you feel happier.
