Ryanair want another £30 to check a bag in the hold. We are only going away for two nights so the bf is happy that he can fit all his stuff into one bag but he doesn't have the copious amounts of hair and beauty products that I couldn't leave the country with so I am trying to work out if I could fit all my stuff in a hand luggage bag. So I have a couple of questions:
1) Are you allowed to take liquids on board or are they still banned? Items like shampoo, moisturisers, etc?
2) As there is a one item per person hand luggage rule, would they notice if I had a handbag too and if they did would they make me check in my hand luggage in the hold?
3) Can anyone recommend a good 'hand luggage' bag?
Meant to say, this is not much use to you now, but for next time it might be handy!
I collect samples from magazines etc, of shampoo, foundation, shower gel, facecream etc, and take them away with me on weekend breaks when my baggage is limited! It gets round the weight/taking up space problem, and also gets my bag through security as I always have so little liquid!
