I heard on the radio this morning that the USA are thinking of sending troops etc to Libya to help restore blah blah blah..............

Why is it that America has to always think they need to go in and 'sort it out' like they own the world??

I know that problems in Libya (and other countries) effectively cause problems elsewhere, but why is it always America wadeing in?

Is there a particular reason as to why?

over what koode?
My late mother said that they did it because they usually started the war in the first place.
Oil
If the Americans helped set up a new regime in Libya they would expect favourable, long-term, oil contracts in return.
They might even be able to influence the colour of the new government so that it wasn't antagonistic to their friends in Israel.

Yes it's because they have oil, the US would walk through a ring of fire to get to any country with fossil fuels or precious mineral deposits.
