Diagnosis of Coeliac disease?
3 Answers
Having a blood test on Fri, to determine whether I suffer from it or not, but I am also aware that if it comes back positive I have to have a colon biopsy performed! Why do you need the two tests, and which end to they stick the camera into? ;-)

This can be done whilst awake in adults and older children but as he was just 3 at the time he was knocked out for it. i was told by the docs that the blood test is a very good indicator if coeliac disease is present but to be 100% certain the 2nd step of the biopsy is necessary.
