ED, a section for 'household tips' may be good

Today I have had some excellent advice about a DIY har 'do'
but a section on,say, getting stains out of something or any other little anecdote, might come in handy for people
a wide variation of helpful hints?

I don't understand why we would need a section on say 'getting stains out'...most of the sub sections are under used as it is.

For instance...click on 'news'...then click on the sub sections. People just don't use them as a general rule.

when you buy potatoes, immediately wrap them in tin foil. That way you will have a tasty, baked tatty consolation to cheer you up, if your house burns down.

top tips is not what this site is about though...its a q&a site ...
the internet is full of top tips sites

i also doubt many would use it really - i would not wade through pages and pages of tips to find one that i might need - id just ask it myself
