Just a quick note to let you all know that there is no more subsidies for Compact Flourescent Light bulbs any more. Whereas before you could get up to 5 light bulbs for about 50p, they are now all over £2 each. In some cases of special bulbs, which are special shapes then they can cost up to £5 each. I should have told you all this before, but did not know until today that they are now this price.

Can anyone here prove me wrong, and tell us all where you can still get them at the old price?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

My local 99p shop still has them on special offer (6 x 11watt) bulbs for 99p – that works out at less than 20p each.

"I should have told you all this before..."

Why?

To save you all money, that's why, NazNomad, but did not know about this until now. I hope this does not put any of you out, but just telling you what you needed to know. Ask a friend if they have any spare bulbs to give you.
Can't see many friends giving you a light bulb that costs £2-£5 for free.
Thanks Jonny for your lack of information - I am sending you a bill for £532-94p representing the differential I have missed out on.

I have also found out that another store still has them at the old cheap price. They are called Home Bargains, and the site is below:

www.homebargains.co.uk

Hope this helps, as would not want you to be in the dark.
