Can anyone tell me why RAF High Wycombe is no longer known as Strike Command? It's now called Air Command.

HQ Land Forces became HQ Land Command, Strike Command became HQ Air Command etc. This happens every few years or so. for instance in my time we have gone from HQ United Kingdon Land Forces to HQ Land Forces to HQ Land Command or simply LAND.
