Childrens Teeth
16 Answers
I was having a chat with my sister the other day about the amount of visits the tooth fairy has made to her house recently when she said that she has kept all of her 3 childrens teeth that have fallen out. I thought that was really odd! The first one, yeah I get it but all of them? Just wrapped in a tissue in the drawer. What you gona do with about 60 teeth?
So now I'm intrigued, do you keep them or do you chuck em?

I think the hand/foot print thing is sweet. A reminder of the how little they once were. You don't really get that from teeth though do you. Odd.
I should say, as I know she uses this site sometimes - my sister is a fabulous mother and sister and if she wants my teeth when they fall out, she can have them. :o)

I've kept all of my kids teeth, my mum still has mine, I just thought thats what you did. My grandaughter has her first wobbly tooth and her mum told her that I have a stash so she wanted to see them. She thought is was great. Though did have to do some quick thinking when she asked how I got them from the tooth fairy, told her I left money under my pillow and the toothfairy took the money and left the tooth.
Lol Pixi - I am just imagining you with an excited face thinking you were about to find something nice only to be presented with manky old teeth.
That tooth fairy is a crafy little bugger if you have to buy the teeth back! lol.
Did you know the tooth fairy writes letters these days. I had to use my best 'tooth fairy' handwriting the other day to respond to a letter my nephew wrote. I can confirm the tooth fairy is called Tinks and is in fact a boy. lol.

i keep the first and last only.
My kids get a letter (so small, you need a magnifying glass to read it) from the fairy when it's their first and last tooth.
Last Christmas my daughter lost a tooth on Christmas Eve and was excited to receive something very special from the Christmas fairy no less!
She got a two pound coin and a certificate from the Christmas fairy, Christabel Sparklewings III. She said on the letter, that she had to ride on a dragonfly as the giant poster was too big for her to carry on her own. My little girl thought that was funny as to us humans it is only two inches square.
Boy that was a busy night!

I have each and every one of my children's teeth even though eldest is now 19 and 6ft 2. My mum kept all of ours too and when she died we found them in a box in the attic and she had written memory box on it. It was so lovely when we found it there was all kinds of strange stuff that we had given her over the years.
