What are really cr@p at?

We all tend to tell others what we are very good at, but people do not tell about things they are really crap at.

Finishing the jobs I started.
I have a really crap memory.
I have dreadful handwriting.
I'm crap at studying.
I'm crap at getting changed, whatever I'm wearing when I get up, will stay on, no matter what I'm doing until I go to work, if I dress smart when i get up, I will still do the gardening dressed that way, if I'm dressed for gardening I will still go and do the shopping with the lovely Carakeel, she does moan about it though, just a little, Bless her! :-)

I'm crap at housework, particularly Hoovering. I like the flock effect of cat moult....

I'm crap at keeping the house really tidy! I do try to keep up with things, but what with 3 wolfhounds, a little shih-tzu, caring for my mum, ratter and me ... and the fact that I am just not as fit as I used to be, I don't do as good a job as I would like to. I am tidy in some areas and not very good at being tidy in others. There never seem to be enough hours in the day or enough energy to get it all done. I am a crap guitar player, because I don't practice or play enough. I am crap at remembering dates and events in the correct sequence ... have to write everything down. Oh dear, when I think of it ... I am not actually that brilliant at much, so the list would be too long to mention here I think. lol

That last one is me RATTER...I've ruined more decent clothes than I care to think about and yes, I'll go to B&Q covered in paint and wallpaper paste.

I'm also cr@p at breaking routines, I'm a creature of habit and I know it gets on my nerves at times, so it must cheese everyone else off.

I'm a terribly impatient driver.

I have to finish a book no matter how bad it is.....I've been reading this one since Christmas 2010

I'm like you mazie I have to finish a book no matter how bad it is. I wish I could be better at baking, the end result is OK but I end up with flour all over myself, the floor everywhere, and a sink full of bowls dishes and utensils. Last week a guy rang to deliver a chair cushion that had been repaired, I had to change my jumper and wash my face before he came, I was in the middle of baking cornish pasties.

I am crap at dieting I've got no willpower and also crap at driving! I frightened my passengers by driving too fast.

Hiya Gran...I'm a very tidy baker and always wear my pinney.....I wash up as I go along and wipe the worktops after each process....you see I;m a bit of a control freak, which is really never a good thing. I wish I was more like you and took my clothes off for the delivery man ;o) (only joking xxx)

Lol mazie, I envy people who are so methodical, I am in other ways but not baking. One of my friends makes beautiful cakes perfectly round with smooth filling and icing etc. My cakes look as though they've been dropped a few times.

Hi Ian, I was brought up to have a go and to do the best I could. If I am not pleased with my own efforts I just try a bit harder the next time. I compete only with myself, that way I can always improve. What makes the difference between triumph and disaster? Kipling summed it up pretty well, I think:

Thats me Gran, they have to be perfect or they go in the bin, well they used to before I had grandkids, now I bake them and they ice and decorate them so they look like something like the dogs at a good chew at......So I'm not so fussy these days..
