Software for communal display in school?
1 Answers
Hi there,
I work in a school and I have set up a flatscreen TV on the wall in the students common room area. I have a laptop that is running the display, it is dedicated to it.
I need to fond some software that will allow me to set the laptop to automatically display certain slides or websites or pictures or video (all full screen) at certain times of the day. For example: at the end of lunch break I want it to display the timetable for that 5 minute transition time, but then after that I might want it to play the bbc news stream, stuff like that.
If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them! :)
Thanks

You might have a licence to install Powerpoint. Although the above technique could be applied to any slideshow software. Not sure of any free ones so maybe others can help. You used windows scheduler to launch browser link to your website. Good luck!
