Downloaded IE9 last night and the browser doesn't seem to display anything but a blank page for every site I visit. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I have Windows 7 64-bit; are there any solutions to fix this or will I just have to wait until Windows provides an update with a fix?
Ah OK, that explains why nothing appears in the browser. Thanks. I read on Download.com that it was officially released but evidently it's not; I'll uninstall it and reinstall when it is.
Only real criticism: Tabs are in the wrong (logical) place.
The tab applies to a particular page, so should appear immediately above the page. There's no logical reason that I can see for moving it to above the toolbars (which are, generally, non-page-specific).
They also seem to have removed the little drop down menu from the forward arrow that you could use to go back more than one page at a time, which Is a little annoying as I did use that.
Though being firefox there will no doubt be an add-on shortly to address this (and probably the tab positions)
Der... should have spotted that (but I looked in options).
But it's still not "right" in that I feel that the tabs (as I said) should appear directly associated with the page. Even after moving them below the toolbars, they now spread across the width of the browser, not the page. So, if you have a sidebar open, the first two tabs appear above the sidebar, not above the page.
