Strange Coincidences
12 Answers
A few years back I saw a fatal road accident and was first on the scene. I remember the song that was playing in the car at the time it happened, it was Stereophonics Handbags and Gladrags.
Today I got into work at 9am, got sorted and turned on the radio, the Stereophonics song was playing, I remember because every time it plays I think of the guy who died. It must have been about 9.10am.
I heard on the news tonight that a woman had been in an accident on the very same bit of road as the accident I witnessed. she had died at the scene at 9.10am which was the time I heard the same song playing.
Not reading in to it but its a bit of a coincidence! What strange coincidences have you experienced?

Several years ago I went into hospital for an operation, my father came to visit and collapsed on my bed with and angina attack, he was taken to another part of the hospital. He requested "One day at a time sweet Jesus" to be played on the hospital radio for me. Twenty years later he went into hospital and I visited him, he was sleeping when I left him with my Mum at his bedside. On the way home they played the same song on the car radio it was just after 5pm. I knew that it was for me, and that he had passed away, just after 5pm.

Not quite on the same level but on my way to work yesterday morning I was thinking about how the MotoGP starts this weekend and in particular was thinking about one of the riders, Valentino Rossi. As I was thinking about it, a song came on the radio and in the background of it was a guy just singing the name Valentino. It was a bit odd.
