Joining the circus

How do you go about joining a circus? Just watching Masterchef which is based at a circus this week and it got me thinking.

When I was little I ran away with a circus but they caught me and made me put it back

I stayed at the Express Holiday Inn in Old Street, London once. My room overlooked the Circus School and rather than go to my appointment the next day I very nearly joined up.
