american fridge/freezer

hi ive got an american fridge/freezer made by samsung model srs-s2028css the freezer is fine but although you can hear the fridge working only the bottom half is cold and and is making lots of ice in and aroundthe fan wat can i do to stop this happening

Phone the shop you purchased it from, explain the issue, and request samsung send an engeneer, quote sale of goods act, their should be no charge to you.
also have a look at money saving expert website type samsung in search box. according to the threads this problem seems to be quite common with this make of fridge freezer.

I once had a similar problem, rang for engineer to come out & was told it had been a fault with certain models! Rather than recall the faulty ones, they wait for customers to ring & complain before putting them right. Give the shop you bought it from a ring & see how you get on. Good luck.
