Hope this doesn't worry you but does you cat have white hair on it's ears? If so they are prone to getting skin cancer (being fair skinned) the cases I have seen of this are usually treated very well.
Alternatively this could be a spot just like ours or an allergic reaction to a bite. It really could be a number of things.
