Buying a property outright. Solicitor or not?
If I was to buy a property, cash, outright would I still need to use a solicitor?
Or can I just pay the money, take the deeds and it is completed?

Yous could but you would have to have the names changed at the land registry and unless you know the property well you will need land searches etc to make sure you know what you are buying and any limitations. You will alson need to make sure and building work done has been done to building regs anny planning permissions obtained etc etc So I guess what I am really saying is that unless you already know all there is to know about the property let the professionals do the job.
