Accommodation near the Eden project
5 Answers
Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay near to the Eden project? Preferably within walking distance of pubs/restaurants. I'm losing the will to live trawling through the hotels and B&Bs on the web!
TIA

Hi Eccles. We are going there this week as we haven't been for a while.
Can't recommend one within walking distance as we always stay in our favourite hotel between Looe and Polperro and have an evening meal there.
Not much help, but don't forget to buy your tickets online for the E P as it saves you some money!

We’ve stayed at the Fowey Hotel:

It’s a very quaint hotel with fine views overlooking the estuary. They often do bargain deals off-peak (the full price is a bit heavy) but it’s very nice.
It is about fifteen minutes drive from Eden. The village of Fowey is very picturesque and there are a number of watering holes and restaurants in the village. The only trouble is, as with most places on the coast in Cornwall, Fowey is very small and gets very congested at peak times. Also, if you cannot reserve a parking space at the hotel you will have to park in the municipal car park at the top of the town.
