Can anyone tell me good places to stay in prague? i'm taking a girlfriend so away from the stag parties!

 

also what items are 'must see' in prague?

My boyfriend took me to the Crown Plaza hotel in Prague, it is out of the way you need to get a tram to the main part but the hotel looks amazing

from the outside and is lovely inside. make sure you get a pass so you can go on the underground and road trams they take you everywhere and are very regular.

We went to Prague for a quiet weekend - but still enjoyable as away from stag parties - and stayed in an air miles recommended three star hotel which was very good.  Its the Hotel Central which is only a few minutes walk from the Central square and all the life.

Can I recommend you take an hours minibus ride which shows you all the sights in one go and then you can visit what you choose in your own time.

Interestingly we were warned against the pickpockets which were allegedly everywhere, more than msot cities.  During our second day I was the victim of an attempted mugging on a tube train.  Unluckily for the attackers my grey hair gave out easy pickings signals which two snapped fingers later showed them to be mistaken.  Nevertheless be careful and keep to populated areas and don't show cameras, wallets and all the rest.
