Especially for kate, chrissa and bette:
I have had my own florist's business and always worked closely with many local undertakers and the staff at the crematorium. I have no worries about the validity of certification of ashes. Please do not get worried over some of the answers on this thread.
i have been out all day today and just read the comments on here,i tried to google to see how long the ashes would take but it kept going on about how long and how a cremation is done so i avoided reading it,i found it too upsetting, also eddies commens i wish i had'nt read.son e mailed the funeral director yesterday and he has now got in touch,we are going to ask him to post the ashes here in glasgow,i dont know if they will do that 'will they?
Hope youre getting along ok kate, i think they could possibly use a courier? Just a guess though, keep your chin up, bit of a horrible thread to read!!take care xxxxx
Kate, I cannot answer your query about whether they will mail them or (though am sure they will) but please do not go by some of the negative postings, all is well n our society for the correct and dignified way of doing this.
At this time you do not need extra anxiety, please take care and try not to worry.
