What first dance song did you choose

not married but my sister had colours of dawn as her hymn... she only had one and her first dance was dr hook years from now i think

Funny you should ask............. my son and I were talking about just this subject the other day and when I asked him what would be his 'first dance' song , he thought for a moment and then decided on The Kaiser Chiefs'  Every day I love you less and less!

hi maggie, we sang "Jesus, good above all other" one of my favorite hymns, then the recording "I've finally found someone" then at the reception our first song was "we've only just begun" Very sloppy and romantic, thats me!!!!

At my wedding we didn't have a first song at the reception.  The DJ decided on "Everything I Do I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams, but we didn't dance.  Everybody was asking why we weren't dancing and we just said it was because we hadn't asked for a song.

Lated in the evening the DJ played Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" especially for me.  However it took 2 hours of asking before he'd play a song for me even though I was the Bride!

ShellyHall I hope you enjoyed your wedding. I understand it is not compursory to have a first dance. Sorry the DJ didn't take too much notice of you . You do your best to make everything a perfect day but theres always the odd glitch you just have to hope it isn't anything that will spoil the day.
