Our action in Libya was supposed to help to protect the Libyan civilians, but at what cost, putting our own civilians at risk?

When is the UK going to realise we're not a world power any more, and stop trying to impose our views on everybody?

One missile costs £1 million ; a jet plane costs £35,000 an hour. How many taxpayers does that need?

It's even worse with our "open border" policy and weak deportation system. Who knows what sort of people are going to attempt entry to the country now this has kicked off.

At least if we gave the Gaddafi family refugee status here they wouldn't be a drain on our resources. I believe they already have a nice house in London

I wonder who is going to be responsible for the damage we are now inflicting on Libya once the dust settles. Here we are in Afghanistan building bridges and at the same time destroying all the infrostructure in Libya.

Someone will have to pay for it all and the overseas aid budget will be like a drop in the ocean.
