Will this flower next year?

When all the flowers drop off my plant (not sure, is it an orchid?) should I cut off the dead light brown ends where the flowers were, or leave the ends as they are .. I want it to grow next year. At the bottom there is a new shoot growing out, sorry my photo's not too good. It was a lovely plant but the two shoots are, as you can see, now dying off.

no photo, if an orchid the brown brittle stalks can be cut. Dont water it till it throws more flower stalks.

if it is a moth orchid cut it back to a new bud on the stem and keep it just moist it will either shoot from the stem bud or send out a new flower stem or both but that is after is sat there doing nothing for about 6 months

Although two of the stalks are still in flower, they are on their way out, probably another month or so. However bottom left, there is a new stalk growing. It looks a bit merged in my photo. Should I cut the old ones off when they have finished flowering, and still water sparingly because of the new stalk ??

the stalks are supporting the flowers.....cut when flowers are finished & stalks brown.

And when the old stalks have stopped flowering should I cut them off, but still water cos of the new stalk ?

Not watering is fine if the plant is in a very humid place if not then just mist the bark its in with a plant sprayer
