Sorry, I hadn't actually seen the ad (I have now).I thought the question was why are some of the angels black.

But my PC answer is also wrong as angels, when we finally do see them will be black, white, yellow, whatever...

Is that angel at the front in the final scene Gemma Arterton? Looks like her.
Yes of course - with 3 major movies in production at the moment a non-speaking role in a Lynx commercial is an obvious step in Gemma's acting career :-)
You would have thought with those 'Angels' looking as good as they are on the lynx ad... that they'd actually produce a smile.
Having had a proper look, I think they are 'blondes' and 'brunettes'
Don't know but think they should do a follow up to that ad where he goes up to see the angel that's just fallen on his roof and it turns out to be a hot male angel!
I don't wish to throw a spanner in the works but...aren't angels supposed to be male?
Michael
Gabriel
Raphael
Lucifer
Uriel
etc...

Zeuhl, I take your point but you have to remember appearing in ads is very lucrative and only means one day's work. Tony Hancock at the height of his fame did ads for the.....Egg Marketing Board! In the 80s, we had a neighbour who was a bit actor who suddenly landed some Guinness ads with the toucan, The impecunious David left his rented accommodation next door and went off and bought his own house courtesy of those ads!!
Anyone ever seen one then?

i take your point but Tony Hancock 'starred' in those ads; appeared as himself and had lines.

Had your friend had top billing in movies before the Guinness ads?

Seriously, no Agent is going to suggest following up a major supporting role in a Bond film, Clash of the Titans and starring roles in well regarded Brit Flicks like Tamara Drew with a job like that.

It's not sensible career progression when you think about it, is it?
.
Zeuhl I quite agree...I was just fighting my corner..

Re old Dave, he barely had minor billings!!His entire CV at IMDB is 10 appearances and he last worked in 1988....
YoHo

That's showbusiness! :-)
