if youve written a land rover off someone's been "travelling"unless it an old one and not worth repairing
Never mind how we are, wiggal. How the hell are you after that? Are YOU OK?
i hope you called the police first, then went to the hospital and got checked out, then rang your insurers, are you ok? were you on your own?

Well it is certainly written off and I was travelling no more then 25/30 MPH as I know the roads well! It was only about a mile from my house. No idea what speed he was doing though!

Yea police were called, they came an called me an ambulance as have done my arm in. Went to hospital and had x rays and stuff, no fractures or breaks but tendon and ligament damage and some burns from the airbag on my arm. Oh and a couple of nicely bruised knees!

All in all though, I think I came out pretty well considering!
was he in a company van? they should give you a curesy car anyway
Question Author
Im not sure if it was, but our insurance company offered us a courtesy car, but we have my car (it is actually my fiancees car I was driving!) anyway and I cant drive for a while because of my wrist!

He had no injuries at all! People who stopped kept asking me who the driver of the land rover was, people see me and don't think it would be me as I little 24 yr old driving it!

I was on my own, was heading to pick my fella up from the station.
crying shame to see a disco in that condition :o
So sorry to hear that. Were you all all right in the end? I hope you are claiming off their insurance, and not your own.

Please drive carefully, all you ABers. Nothing is worth an accident like that.

Hey guys, I'm ok now ta, got a very sore arm and can't use my wrist so have a nice sling to wear! Should be able to move it again in 3-4 days the dr said. From what has been said it is likely to be 50/50 as on a country road, but have told the police he was in the middle of the road and he was looking at something on the passenger seat when I saw him coming at me.
Keep looking at the pics and thinking how lucky I am!
Difficult not to be in the middle of the road on a country lane.
you got any pictures of markings on the road as to brake marks, skid marks etc.......get them now before there is any rain or erosion.....or removal. Good for the insurance and length of them can be indicative to speed being done,
and hope that you are ok - any twinge get yourself to the doc to get it recorded as well
Sorry to hear about your smash wiggal, hope you are OK. A relaxing hot bath will ease those aches and pains. Mrask had to fork our £168 today his wing mirror was torn off by some lunatic in the supermarket car park. So we had a visit to the Honda garage for a replacement.

Not really count, although it is a country road into the village we live in, there is plenty of space for 2 cars to cross, without either having to pull over to the side or stop to let the other through. Nice try at your smug nasty little comments though!
Wiggal that sounds frightening glad you are ok. Did the police take photos or were they not that interested?
Question Author
Heya, it was pretty scary! The panic I was in when I realised I couldn't open the car door was horrible! Kicked my way out and then ran up shouting at the van driver, was a case of shock as that is very unlike me!
The police took pictures and said the recovery company would too. Being a small village, he rents a unit on the farm I live on! From what I have heard, when
I was sat in hospital, he was down the local telling his mates about the accident! So he is obviously fine!
Smug and nasty. Wow.
