Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Quizmonkey.... help! One other clue driving me nuts.... this clue has an extraneous word in it which is either "water" or "cold". The full clue is: Water pressure on cold drink vessel(7). If "water" is the extraneous word the clue is: Pressure on cold drink vessel (7) leading to _ _ E _ A _ A. If "cold" is the extraneous word the clue is: Water pressure on drink vessel (7) leading to _ _ A _ A _ H. Hope this makes sense After this puzzle, if it's completed, I think I'd better stick to simpler ones!
Any pointer would be welcome.

While you're waiting for QM2..
Possibly - PRECAVA ( vessel , the superior Vena Cava)
P=pressure
RE=on
CAVA=drink
..but the wordplay doesn't include the"cold" bit, unless Cava can be described as a cold drink.

Brilliant Slaney, PRECAVA is the answer. P (pressure) + RE (on) + C (cold) + AVA (drink, alternative spelling of KAVA in Chambers).

Ah - that was careless of me - I had looked up kava (ava) in Chambers, but just read the first line "aromatic plant of the pepper family", and failed to notice the "narcotic drink" bit!
