London (way round, flights, tube)

Best place to get the cheapest/best deal for return flight to london. Need to leave tuesday 29th night and leave on thursday 31st of next week.. where to get it?

Also which airport is best to go to if i'm staying in islington? How long is it on tube to get from whatever airport to islington?

Cheapest places to stay in islington? (Premier Inn, Travel Lodge?)

Anything that uses the tube will be cheapest as far as travel costs once you get to London go. Trains (from Stansted, Luton, etc) are expensive but fast.

Don't get the train from Heathrow to Paddington - it's mega expensive and by the time you get the tube on to Islington little if any quicker than tube all the way.

the nearest "chain" hotel to the O2 is the Jurys Inn on Pentonville Road, just 3mn from Angel station - their rate for your stay would be over £300.00.
Nearest Premier Inn is at Kings Cross - also over £300. cheapest Premier inn is at Hampstead, (3 miles away) £260.
Nearest Travelodge at Kings Cross, £100 a night. Cheapest Travelodge is at Farringdon, 1.2ml away, £65 a night. - this looks like the best bet but is "almost full" already.

Angel is definitely the nearest tube station.

I`d be inclined to fly into Heathrow on the 29th, stay at the Travelodge in Heathrow Central for the 2 nights and go into London on the tube first thing the next morning. About £40 per night I think.
