Internationals on Saturdays
Why?
Years ago they used to be held on Tuesday/Wednesday nights, when there used to be a far better atmosphere at games.
I hate it nowadays when they are on Saturdays and the domestic programme only consists of a handful of League 1 and League 2 matches
Move 'em back to midweek I say

I think also the idea is for the swaud to have some time together and to have players fresh for important EURO/World Cup Qualifiers. If players play on a Saturday there is a risk they'll be declared injured by their clubs for the international and will then recover quickly to pay for their club on the following Saturday
Redman, I was talking about important internationals - not Mickey Mouse meaningless friendlies
Factor, there are plenty of occasions already where players are declared injured by their clubs for the international and then recover quickly to pay for their club on the following Saturday - note Ryan Giggs record of only 64 internationals over a 16 year period
