How infuriating! I was just hoping to complete my census form on line - which requires ticks in various boxes. My PC can produce almost every imaginable symbol, except the simple basic tick. Have you found likewise and how did you deal with it? I'm tempted to use the square root sign √ which is the nearest I can find.

Huh? You just click a box.
Just click your mouse button and the box will be filled in for you.

I finished mine in about 4 minutes online, but can't get back into it now it's been submitted. I'm sure I just clicked the relevant boxes?..

Many thanks for your replies. I didn't like to try it without knowing how it would work.

Well, it's done but not without a hitch! At the end it showed confirmation of completion and gave a reference number, telling me to either print or save the page. I saved it in the usual way. However when I attempted to open what I had saved it took me back to the beginning of the questionnaire. In short - I have lost the completion reference number.
