Erythyma nodosum and overactive thyroid?
4 Answers
My sister, who is in her early 60's, has been diagnoised with having an overactive thyroid, and has also developed erythyma nodosum - large painful lumps on her legs.
She is usually very active, having her own smallholding and lots of animals. She was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago - does anyone have any experience of this, and any ideas on when she's likely to feel a bit better? (incidentally, she is under medical care, both doctor and hospital, I'm just curious; I've googled both conditions, but would like to hear from anyone who has experienced this.)
