From way back in the 70s what hits (or songs) did Lindisfarne become famous for performing.....apart from Meet me on the corner, and Run for home?

If you like these I can recommend both those LPs very strongly. They never quite reached those heights again, for one reason or another. They split up for a few years: Run for Home didn't arrive until 1978 but truthfully that original magic had faded. Alan Hull, principal songwriter and heart of the band, died in 1995; Lindisfarne are still around in one form or other and the live shows are great but the best songs are a generation and more in the past...
