cant view the files which have a tsk extension

i have some saved projects for my niece from a program called sugar virtual makeover, as i didnt need the program taking up space anymore i uninstalled it and i cant view the files which have a tsk extension- i get a general win error "windows does not know what program created the file"
basically these are jpeg files which have been manipulated /edited by sugar makeover - when i check on the net it says tsk is to do with adobe photoshop- is there any other way of opening them other than to reinstall an unwanted program
i emailed the company tech dept and andy sheldon who dealt with my enquiry was absolutely bloody useless

If they are JPGs rename the extension from tsk to jpg and it will work.

I thought tsk extension was tasks that Outlook setup, must be wrong.
