contact your local council's social services department
Chop off your legs.
You're a little skittish, today, squarebear..........:o)
Hop down to your GP.
I suppose the first question should be 'are you actually disabled'?

If you are then I'm sure your doctor will have spoked with you about this.
.....or he might have spoken with you, alternatively.......
wear a little sign? sorry - i feel i can take the...i have chronic arthritis and poor mobility etc. i guess it's wether you get a blue badge from your local authority for parking, apply for disability living allowance, get support software from uni to help you work...there is no one standard I AM DISABLED thingy which will cover all aspects of your life. you have to look at your needs and contact approipriate agencies for help and support. if you list any particular problems you are having, the fabulous abers will point you in the right direction for stuff that you need. please don't be offended - we are all regular, hardened users with our sarcasm and dry humour chips fully wired in! x
20...i prefer spoked! it brings to mind an unbearably unpleasant procedure...x
If this is a serious question you might be better posting in Body & Soul | Health
There is no such thing as being "registered" disabled any longer. Local councils used to do this but no longer. You are classed as disabled, as lcg says, if you get Disability Living Allowance or if you use a Blue Car Badge.
